Spring has sprung, and DCR is announcing a fresh new blog redesign to celebrate! We wanted to make it easier for you to see what’s the hot topic of the day, search for previous posts and share the news!
The first thing you’ll notice is the sassy new look. We created it with our readers in mind. You’ll find that it features easy scanability and readability – so you can find what you’re looking for FAST and then easily peruse it. It’s also much more contemporary and clean-looking. What you may not notice right away is the tablet with the rotating blog posts. These are the most popular posts. You can simply tap on “Click for more…” to read the rest of the post, share the content, find related posts and write a comment. It’s also mobile-friendly and responsive so you can view it on-the-go with your tablet or phone with no issues.
We have also totally revamped our categories list to be more in line with today’s business needs. If you’re looking for specific information on VMS technology, click VMS. For Statement of Work, there’s the SOW category. We also have categories for CWs/Non-Employees, HR, @DCR, Industry Insight, Trending Topics and last, but not least, Everything Else. All of these are quite self-explanatory, so I won’t bore you with the details.
The Everything Else category is like the “junk drawer” at my house. Everything that doesn’t have a designated space goes there, but don’t overlook this category – lots of times that’s where you’ll find some of the most important tidbits!
We have also totally revamped our categories list to be more in line with today’s business needs. If you’re looking for the most recent industry information, look no further than the four squares, which carries the four most recent posts. You can quickly and easily share these posts right from here if, for example, you are a guest blogger. Otherwise, click on the headline or “Click for more…” to read it in its entirety.
Check it out…now we’re also featuring our authors. We’ve had several requests to link to author posts to quickly access previous articles in the author archives. When you click the author’s name, the four most recent posts again show up in the four squares, or you can go to the bottom left and tap “Older Entries” if you don’t immediately see what you’re looking for. We’ve included a short little snippet about our authors as well.
We’d love for you to share our posts so we’ve made it super easy to do so on Facebook Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. And of course, we’re happy to hear your comments and have a discussion with you. In fact, you can start today by letting us know what you think about our new blog design below!
