Happy Programmers’ Day to our technological wizards.
Technology makes the world go ‘round, so we want to wish all of our super-savvy programmers a Happy Programmers’ Day! You are our behind-the-scenes movers and shakers that make all of our software dreams come true!
You are our trouble-shooter, solution-maker, security-enforcer, clever-coder and development-dream team! We would be nothing without you and so we salute you on this day.
Ok, I’m going to get technical on you now. Programmers’ Day is celebrated on the 256th day of the year because this is the number of distinct values that are represented with an eight-bit byte, and the highest power of two that’s less than 365. You knew there was a Sheldon-esque solution to the exact date of this holiday, didn’t you?
In 2009, Russia’s government declared this date to be a professional holiday, and set the date as September 13 (September 12 in leap years). In the U.S., it’s celebrated as an observance and not a public holiday.
You have made Smart Track the technological wonder it is for our customers and you’ve made xCHANGE a collaborative community, not just another career site or resume bank.
Thank you for all you do!
Happy Programmers’ Day!
