DCR Honored with Eight Stevie® Awards in 2017 American Business Awards

Every year, we enter several important and well-known industry award contests. We submit our entries and wait in anticipation – after all, the competition is pretty intense. This year was no exception…

I’m flattered and humbled to announce that DCR has won not one, but eight Stevie® Awards in the 15th Annual American Business Awards. I’d like to congratulate Ammu Warrier, DCR’s president, and our entire awesome team here at DCR, both onshore and offshore, who work tirelessly to not only achieve awards such as this but to continue providing the best solutions and services to our clients.

This marks the sixth consecutive year that DCR has been recognized by the American Business Awards. This year’s awards include:

  • Gold Award: Company of the year – Computer Software – Medium
  • Gold Award: Ammu Warrier, Tech Innovator of the Year – Software
  • Silver Award: Ammu Warrier, Woman of the Year – Business Products Industries
  • Silver Award: Minority-Owned Business of the Year
  • Bronze Award: Most Innovative Company of the Year – Up to 2,500 Employees
  • Bronze Award: Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year – Up to 2,500 Employees – All Other Industries
  • Bronze Award: Ammu Warrier, Executive of the Year – Business & Professional Services and Diversified Service – 100 to 2,500 Employees
  • Bronze Award: Ammu Warrier, Woman of the Year – Business Services Industries – Accounting, Business Services & Financial Services

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the US are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for a consideration in a wide variety of categories. More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. “Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallaghar, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.

“For the sixth consecutive year, I’m very honored to be recognized by the American Business Awards,” said Ammu Warrier, President of DCR. “At DCR, we take pride in our commitment to innovation and in delivering an original product for our clients, while also providing an exciting environment for employees.”

Bragging a Bit

I know, I know…it sounds like I’m bragging a bit, but a recognition this big gives us a bit of leeway to toot our own horn, right? I’d just like to share just a few of the judges’ comments on our award nominations.

  • “An excellent company in a very competitive environment.”
  • “DCR’s VMS sets the pace for contingent workforce management and services procurement. With the growth predicted in this market space, we can expect to see a lot more of DCR.”
  • “Ammu Warrier is a keenly strategic and nimble business leader with a commitment to creating success.”
  • “Smart Track seems to be a technology poised for future growth. I’m sure we’ll hear more about this company in the future.”
  • “Innovation is the reason why this company is succeeding and growing so fast. They are always ahead of the curve and thinking of what is next.”

These comments are particularly special to me, because we take pride in our commitment to creating and delivering innovative solutions. Our technology solution, Smart Track VMS, is a leading product that helps to unify non-employee management, and I’m especially honored that this year we were voted as one of the most innovative companies and one of the most innovative tech companies of the year. Additionally, Ammu Warrier was recognized with a gold medal as Tech Innovator of the Year in the Software Category.

We promise to live up to this recognition and to continue to lead the industry with cutting-edge and unprecedented concepts that solve pain points for our customers.
