DCR Wins Six 2018 Stevie American Business Awards

Each year at DCR, we put our name in the hat for several prestigious industry awards and patiently wait to hear the results. The competition is fierce and seems to get fiercer each year. This year, the Stevie American Business Awards received more than 3,700 nominations from companies spanning across a multitude of sizes and industries. “The nominations submitted for the 2018 American Business Awards were outstanding. The competition was intense, and those recognized as Stevie Award winners should be immensely proud of this accomplishment,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.

Well, the results are in, and I’m so proud to announce that DCR has been honored with six 2018 Stevie American Business Awards. We received recognition for every single category we submitted to, a huge honor and great achievement. This is the seventh consecutive year that DCR has been awarded in this competition.

The awards:

  • Woman of the Year – Business Products Industries

  • Minority-Owned Business of the Year

  • Technical Innovation of the Year – At Organizations With Up to 1,000 Employees
  • Company of the Year – Computer Software – Large
  • Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year – Up to 2,500 Employees
  • Executive of the Year – Computer Software – Up to 500 Employees

Some of the judges had wonderful things to say about DCR and I can’t resist the urge to repeat them here. A few of my favorite of the judges’ quotes, on DCR as a whole:

“A VMS operating on two cloud providers? I call it being business savvy. Now you’ve really eliminated that feared single point of failure. With thinking like this, no wonder you guys have so many awards.”

“Impressive work. This is the best place so far for workforce management and service procurement solutions. The best part of the innovation is [the] release of Smart Track NOW, a next-level VMS that provides an agile solution that shortens the time to value for clients.”

And on our president and co-founder Ammu Warrier, awarded the gold for Woman of the Year – Business Products Industries:

“Work, care and fun in the same place, Ammu has captured the essence of achievement.”

“I really like her business model, growth and her leadership style. She leads by example with her leading the volunteering efforts within the community and invited everyone into DCR’s care during Hurricane Irma.

I don’t know about you, but I feel pretty good about the company I work for after reading those quotes. These awards inspire us to continue to innovate and push the limits of creativity, year after year.
