DCR’s Q2-2018 Sales & Marketing Summit

Last week, DCR held our quarterly Sales & Marketing Summit, a series of presentations & discussions on best practices concerning our newest clients as well as potential future clients. This has been a wonderful opportunity for our sales and marketing teams to get together, discuss ideas, and collaborate on the future of our joint strategy.

DCR continues to be a leader in innovation for contingent workforce technology, and this summit revealed some exciting aspects of that. In addition to sales/marketing team members, we welcomed guests from implementation, product development, and other departments to unveil the latest features in Smart Track VMS, and wow, there are some exciting things on the horizon. Our final day of the summit included a presentation from DCR president Ammu Warrier on our product roadmap and how we intend to stay at the forefront of industry trends.

In addition to business-related discussion, we also had the opportunity to get to know our colleagues a little better, especially those who work remotely and were in town for the summit. Each night included a fun dinner at a local restaurant. We capped off the whole week with an escape room. If you’ve never done that before, think of it like this: you’re locked in a room filled with hidden clues and secrets, which you must find and solve, eventually leading to the key and escape to safety. Participants split into teams with 60 minutes to find clues, solve puzzles, and find the key to get out. Thankfully, both teams made it out alive; we don’t have to hire any replacements.
