How Do We Measure Up? DCR Workforce Is a Leader in all Categories of Services Procurement

I’m thrilled to announce that DCR is recognized as a leader in service procurement providers by Forrester Research, Inc., an industry-leading global research organization in “The Forrester WaveTM: Services Procurement, Q1 2017” that was recently released.

How is it measured?

Forrester uses three data sources to assess each solution’s strengths and weaknesses: vendor surveys as they relate to the evaluation criteria, product demos to validate details of product capabilities and customer reference calls to validate product and vendor qualifications.

Forrester used a 40-criteria process to evaluate DCR’s services procurement solution, Smart Track VMS as well as Smart Track xCHANGE, to show how it measures up in three high-level categories: current offering, product strategy and market presence.

“It [Smart Track] has excellent support for contingent worker presentment and onboarding/offboarding, compliance management for freelance workers, and services provider supplier performance,” Andrew Bartels, Vice President and Principal Analyst, Forrester, wrote in the report. “It now has one of the most capable solutions for SOW [Statement of Work] services…”

In this evaluation, DCR’s current offering, Smart Track VMS, received its top scores for technology, globalization, integration, and functionality: (contingent workers and freelance workers). DCR was also given the highest score among competitors in the functionality: project-based/SOW services and business/outsourcing services criteria.

Additionally, one of our core values is customer service and the report states that our reference clients are “very happy with [Smart Track’s] usability and appreciated [our] willingness to go out of its way to meet [their] needs,” which is something we’re very pleased to hear.

The report goes into great detail, and is highly regarded in the Vendor Management industry. As the report mentions, “gaining control of services spending represents both a challenge and an opportunity for chief procurement officers and other SVM professionals.”
